COWS Canceled Until Further Notice

We are just as bummed as you are that we won't be together for our monthly science cafes! Until the COVID-19 virus is under control, we want you to stay home and stay safe. Watch for updates from us in the coming months for our next event.

Have an idea for a COWS? Email Alex at [email protected].

Want to still learn a little science? This video from Vox explains why hand washing is so important right now!

All the best- Alex, Sarah, and Laura

Pollinator health and loss of population has been a big topic in the news lately as several reports of devastating losses in both honey bees and native pollinator diversity have emerged.

Dr.
Eva Reinicke will explore the topic of honey bee health from the prospective of a local bee veterinarian and beekeeper. Through her practice Northland Honey Bee Veterinary Services, she is in the field examining and managing colony health on a regular basis. Discussion will follow a short presentation.

We hope to see you there!
